This site has gone dark today in protest of the U.S. Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and PROTECT-IP Act (PIPA). This blackout is also in effect to protest against all actions for censorship by governments. A recent such action was taken by a High Court Judge of the Delhi High Court, India. Justice Suresh Kait had warned Google India and social networking site Facebook India that websites can be "blocked" like in China if they fail to devise a mechanism to check and remove objectionable material from their web pages.
